Why not reduce the number of liquor licenses? I would favor a very small number for cannabis licenses. Obviously, although both are poisons to the human body, the licenses are cherished to support the city & business. Pharmacies used to sell alcohol for medicinal purposes: are any still licensed to sell alcohol & are pharmacies licensed to sell medical marijuana in Malden? All poisons/ medicines should be in hands of professionals & liguor stores & cannabis stores operated under strict licensing & ordinance.

Cannabis is one of the least toxic substances known to mankind. Toxin means you can die from an overdose that is impossible from cannabis! Signed almost an expert here!

I can accept that it may not be toxic to many. But it is very hard for some brains, almost psychedelic & another insult to lungs particularly for long term users. That is the reason I believe Malden should be careful & vigilant about ordinances about alcohol, cannabis, not to obstruct or stop recreational or medicinal use but micro breweries, restaurants, other regulated business are seen as revenue procurers for the city. Walgreens & CVS are corporations displacing smaller business in Malden. Dunkin Donuts, Stop & Shop also welcomed with open arms. Hope the little guys selling cannabis are not straws for large corporations. That is my two cents; no way an expert.
